Discord Anti-Raid and Anti-Nuke Bot: PixelMint Security

PixelMint is a Discord bot whose moderation layer runs on GlassFrame Protocol, a standalone anti-raid and anti-nuke security library. It is designed to detect join raids, respond to mass-destructive actions from compromised admin accounts, harden baseline server settings and add AI-assisted moderation, with a control panel, a punishment ladder, whitelisting and a log channel.

What are raids and nukes?

A raid is when a large number of users or bots join a server at once to disrupt it, usually by spamming or harassing members.

A nuke is an attack by someone holding powerful permissions, such as a compromised admin account or a malicious bot, who mass-deletes channels and roles, mass-bans members or floods the server with webhooks and spam.

What GlassFrame Protocol covers

Set it up in five steps

  1. Add PixelMint to your server with the invite link.
  2. Run /setup and accept the Terms prompt.
  3. Set the log channel: /setup channels log:#mod-logs.
  4. Open the control panel with gf panel after your server prefix (for example !gf panel) and arm the layers you want.
  5. Check gf status, then add trusted staff to the whitelist as described in the GlassFrame docs.

Give PixelMint only the permissions the GlassFrame docs list, not Administrator, and place its role above the members it needs to act on.

Other safeguards in PixelMint

A bot is one layer, not the whole defense

Discord has its own Raid Protection alerts, Pause Invites and Security Actions, and the strongest defense is limiting who holds dangerous permissions. The security checklist walks through both.

Frequently asked questions

What is an anti-raid bot?

An anti-raid bot watches for sudden waves of joins or spam from many accounts and responds automatically. It reacts faster than a moderator can, and it works best alongside the Discord built-in tools such as Raid Protection and Pause Invites.

What is an anti-nuke bot?

An anti-nuke bot watches for mass-destructive actions such as deleting many channels or roles, mass bans or kicks, and webhook floods, especially from accounts with powerful permissions, and responds before the damage spreads.

Does PixelMint have anti-raid and anti-nuke protection?

Yes. The PixelMint moderation layer runs on GlassFrame Protocol, a standalone library with anti-raid detection, anti-nuke protection aimed at compromised admin accounts, baseline server hardening and AI-assisted moderation.

How do I turn on PixelMint security?

Run /setup, set a log channel with /setup channels log, then open the control panel with gf panel after your server prefix and arm the layers you want. Use gf status to check what is active.

What is GlassFrame Protocol?

GlassFrame Protocol is a standalone Discord security library that PixelMint uses for anti-raid, anti-nuke and AI-assisted moderation. It is also used outside PixelMint, and its full reference covers arming layers, the punishment ladder and whitelisting.

Can PixelMint protect against a compromised admin account?

GlassFrame includes anti-nuke protection designed for this case: an account with elevated permissions suddenly performing destructive actions. No bot replaces good permission habits, so also require 2FA for moderation and limit who holds powerful permissions.

Where do the security logs go?

GlassFrame posts its logs to the channel assigned with /setup channels log. If no log channel is set, there is no GlassFrame logging.

Does PixelMint need the Administrator permission?

Avoid giving any bot Administrator unless it truly needs it. Check the GlassFrame documentation for the permissions it requires, grant those, and keep the PixelMint role above the members it must act on.

Does Discord have built-in raid protection?

Yes. Discord offers Raid Protection alerts, CAPTCHA options, Pause Invites and Security Actions that pause invites and DMs. A security bot adds automated responses on top of those tools.

Where is the full GlassFrame configuration?
